    Q: What is Adobe Acrobat training about?

    This course teaches you how to create and edit professional PDF documents. You’ll learn practical tools for working with PDFs in business, education, or government settings — from simple edits to
    advanced features like forms and security.

    Q: What will I learn?

    We have three courses:

    • one for creating PDFs from Word, Excel, and other formats and editing the text and images directly in Adobe Acrobat
    • one for creating secure fillable forms
    • and one for creating Accessible documents

    Q: Can the training be customized for my team?

    Yes. We can tailor examples and exercises to the types of documents your team uses most — contracts, forms, reports, or compliance materials.

    Q: Who should attend?

    Anyone who works with PDF documents regularly: administrators, coordinators, managers, educators, or staff who prepare reports, contracts, or forms. No prior Acrobat experience is required.

    Q: How are the courses delivered?

    A live instructor demonstrates each feature, then you’ll practice it right away. Training is hands-on right from the start.

    Q: What version of Adobe Acrobat do I need?

    We recommend Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, but the course can be adapted for other versions.

    Q: Do I need to know how to use Adobe Acrobat before the course?

    No. The course starts with the basics and moves into advanced features step by step. We can also customize sessions for teams with mixed experience levels.

    Q: How long is the course?

    We offer flexible formats: the half-day workshops are very popular but, increasingly, clients are asking for 2-hour modules. It’s up to you.

    Q: What’s the main benefit of this training?

    You’ll save time, reduce errors, and gain confidence working with PDFs. Many participants discover features that immediately improve productivity and streamline workflows.

    Half Day | 3 hours | $475 PLUS TAX

    Prerequisite: Basic computer skills.

    This course is hands-on -- you will learn to create, edit, and combine PDF documents for distribution, collaboration, and data collection. It sounds daunting, but this app has a LOT of features that will make your day easier. In class, we’ll make sure you have enough practice to feel completely comfortable when you start working with Acrobat back at the office.

    Adobe Acrobat – Fillable Forms « click for details
    Half Day | 3 hours | $475 PLUS TAX

    Prerequisite: Acrobat Essentials or equivalent experience.

    This hands on course teaches you how to create fillable user-friendly e-forms, from basic survey forms to order forms that calculate tax and shipping. You’ll practice creating buttons to submit, reset, and print e-forms. The course includes practice exercises so you remember the lessons learned.

    1 Day | 7 hours | $725 PLUS TAX

    Prerequisite: Students should have a solid understanding of the basics in Acrobat.

    This class takes you through the process of creating accessible PDF files using Adobe Acrobat Professional or Foxit Pro. Multiple document types are covered - graphics, tables, text-based documents and forms. The course covers guidleines, useful tips, and current standards for compliance.

    What to expect in The Training Company's online Adobe Acrobat courses

    You can expect your instructor to be helpful and engaging. Your Adobe Acrobat training will be hands-on, right from the start, and your day lasts about 7 hours including breaks and lunch.

    You will get lots of practice with the basics so you can dive in to big projects confidently when you get back to the office. The content of your Adobe Acrobat training is structured so that you easily understand how the lessons are relevant to the work you perform. You will work on practical exercises in your Acrobat course—learning new skills and professional techniques that you will use in your own real-world projects. You will meet attendees like yourself, like-minded people pursuing similar goals. You can expect lively Q&As. We hope you’ll ask all the questions you want. Please let us know before the event if you have any special requests or challenges.

    Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

    Plans change, and we can accommodate all reasonable requests. Sometimes there are hard costs
    involved but we’ll work with you to reduce or avoid them altogether. Please direct all cancellation
    and rescheduling emails to learning@thetrainingcompany.ca

    Cancellations

    » Cancellations made more than 5 days before a course date qualify for a full refund minus a $35 administration fee per student.

    » Cancellations made less than 5 days before a course do not qualify for a refund but the class may be rescheduled.

    » Cancellations made within 48 hours of the start time are not eligible for a refund and may not be rescheduled.

    » We are not able to offer refunds or rescheduling for no-shows or uncompleted courses.

    Rescheduling

    » There is no charge for rescheduling when you inform us at least 3 days before the course.

    » An administration fee of $35 per person is charged when rescheduling less than 3 days before a course.

    » Student substitutions are free. If you cannot take a course maybe your colleague can. Just let us know.

    » It is rare that classes do not run as scheduled but we do reserve the right to reschedule previously confirmed classes.
